    Description

    Rare Sears Belt Strip Sander, 1x 42”? With a Dunlap Motor that needs work to get fully functional. Wasn’t able to find any information on this type of sander and believe it to be a 1 x42” strip sander. The base, arm, and bed are cast aluminum. The base is 17” long x approximately 10” wide and the arm extends up from base by 19 1/2”. The top of the arm has a spring mechanism which I’m assuming is for tensioning the belt. There must be a pulley wheel/tension arm missing. The 3 step pulleys say Craftsman and I know Dunlap did a lot of motors for Sears, so that is why I’m assuming it is Sears model. I’m putting the price low as parts are missing and my uncertainty of product specifications. In order to save on shipping the unit will be disassembled and if you don’t want the motor, we would be able to send frame separately and much cheaper. The chord is brittle and will need to be replaced. Please see pictures for complete detail of overall layout, features, and form reference.
